Defect analysis and investigation
Building defects are often mistakenly identified or the incorrect repairs carried out.
We can carry out a detailed investigation and provide a reasoned diagnosis with recommendations for repair. This is often supplemented by photographic illustrations which are particularly useful in providing information to a board of directors who may be not only remote from the building but not familiar with building problems and construction terminology.
Construction related photography
Brian Eyley is able to offer a photographic service of professional standard to accompany the building surveying services described here.
In the past, these have included photographic schedules of condition to include some particularly difficult photographic subjects, record of poor construction in a criminal case of fraud and, of course, many examples of litigation reports.
