Mission Statement

Brian Eyley Partnership (B E P) is a Practice of Chartered Building Surveyors aiming to provide the highest quality of service, enhancing traditional values with modern techniques. 

General Information

Brian Eyley Partnership is a practice of Chartered Building Surveyors (a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Building Surveyors Division).

We work for a variety of client types, particularly the following sectors

We have to comply with a strict code of conduct and are required to maintain certain insurance policies to protect our clients.  In fact, we have professional indemnity insurance to a level of about 8 x the level required by the RICS.

We own our own freehold  office building in a small modern office park, conveniently located for access to the motorway system.  Click here for location maps and travel directions.

We are a small practice with a policy of  quality before quantity.    We positively choose to use modern technology but only where an improved service can be identified and not for its own sake.  We have been using CAD since we were established in 1991 and haven't even owned a drawing board for several years.

We would be pleased to answer any questions about the Practice and can provide names and other details for references.

The Principal of the Practice is  Brian Eyley F.R.I.C.S.   who is a Chartered Building Surveyor.  There is fuller information on his c.v. page but, briefly, he was born in 1949, is a past Wessex Branch BS Chairman and honorary secretary, a past member of the Practice and Techniques Committee at RICS HQ, an assessor for the RICS APC scheme for over 10 years, President and founder member of a Rotary Club, past Round Table member, part time professional photographer and web site builder!?  In his spare time (!) he enjoys yachting, golf, mountain biking, walking, motor sports  and historic buildings.  He has two children, one left university and the has been to  Australia on a round the world trip in his year out but is now at Reading University (reading Building Surveying!!)

Enhanced service

The building surveying profession has always taken a pride in the high standard of services it provided to its Clients.

B E P adheres to those values but has invested heavily in computer based equipment to enable new services to be offered or existing services to be enhanced.

Client Liaison

Brian Eyley takes a personal interest in the conduct of the projects and likes to maintain contact with clients wherever possible.

Almost all our work comes from previous clients, recommendations and personal contact.   Less than 5% is obtained from advertising.  We believe that says a great deal about client satisfaction.

Fees

We always try to offer the best possible value for money. 

Although we have a competitive fee structure, we recognise that we do not always offer the lowest fees available.  That is not possible when standards are to be maintained at a high level.

We try to give the best value for money which we consider to be an average fee level combined with the best service we can offer.
